Massive responsibility rests on the shoulders of each worship leader around the globe , as God's presence in the congregation is dependent on it and the destinies of members of the church depend on the way they worship. If worship is done in a manner that God is not present and minister in a meeting or a person who is on the verge of tragedy or catastrophe will leave church exactly the way they entered it and miss an chance for them to receive the blessings of God. It is time for us to get serious about the most fundamental aspect of worship in the home of the Lord. For worship in the Lord's house to differ from others, I think its time we did things differently.
I share ten reasons why you must do worship and praise the right way.
1. Man was made for worship and praise, not only for Sundays and on a regular basis. The reason that many people don't experience an experience of God's presence during their worship on a Sunday morning is because they do not do it at home. Therefore they have not nurtured an intimate relationship with God even being excellent Christians.
2. Worship is more in line with the person who is offering it, and also his vertical relationship with the one who he is worshipping (Jehovah God).
3. Anybody can sing songs that speak about God however, it requires a special connection with God to have access to God's presence God through the medium of worship.
4. Sometimes you praise out of an overflow. Other occasions, you might need to sacrifice something in praise. David says the following in Psalms: "I will bless the Lord at all times"! 8. The primary function of a praise and worship leader is to make heaven open that's why we gather for a meeting with our God. When He shows up He doesn't leave us the way He found us.
9. There are songs that encourage us to worship and songs that carry the presence of God. These are not the songs that you sing simply because they are in the "top 20". They are God inspired songs, not your songs.
10. Miracles, signs and wonders begin to take place in an atmosphere that has been created by worship. Therefore, it isn't a way to warm up to preaching. It is a way of ministering to God and when God is ministered to , He is glorified by His presence.
In closing, I would like to encourage you to remain consistent in worship. Worship God in your home together with your family, in your cell groups, and in the near future, it will be a powerful lifestyle and when you get together at church, what a great time you will have.
